This site exists because kitchen cost calculators nearly all do the same unhelpful thing: they ask you how much you want to spend, apply a multiplier, and hand the number back as though it were an estimate.
What this is
A set of twelve tools that derive the quantities a kitchen remodel is actually priced from — cabinet linear feet, box counts, countertop square footage and slab counts, circuit counts, trade hours, schedule days — and then apply prices you supply from your own market.
The division is deliberate. Quantities are geometry and can be computed correctly from anywhere. Prices are local and cannot. A site that pretends to know both is guessing at the half it cannot know, and that guess is where the misleading numbers come from.
Who writes this
Andrew Flores is responsible for this site's research, calculations, source verification, and corrections. Each registered calculator constant enters through the data module carrying a sourced, derived or assumed label. Sourced rows include the address and date of retrieval.
It is published by Nathan Management, a California publisher of single-purpose calculators. We are not contractors, not designers, not licensed in any trade, and not affiliated with any cabinet line, appliance manufacturer, stone supplier or contractor referral network. Nobody pays to appear here, because there is nowhere to appear.
Corrections, disagreements and better sources are all welcome at the address on the contact page. If a figure here is wrong we would rather hear it from you than leave it up.
The rules this site is built to
- Derive what the visitor came to find out. Never ask for the answer and multiply it.
- Every number that did not come from the visitor carries a named source and a retrieval date, or it is labelled as an assumption in plain words.
- When a figure cannot be sourced, ask for the visitor's local one rather than inventing a national one.
- Show the arithmetic. A result nobody can check is a result nobody should act on.
- Say what is excluded, every time, next to the number it is excluded from.
- Prefer an honest gap to a confident guess.
How it is paid for
This build carries no advertising, no affiliate links, no sponsored placements and no lead-generation forms. Nothing on this site earns a commission if you click it, and no outbound link is monetised.
If that changes, the editorial policy and the privacy policy will be updated in the same deployment that introduces the change, describing what is actually running rather than what is planned.
